Collaboration with the development of the Eugenio Lima community in Cape Verde
Our project manager Fábio Ferreira has travelled to the island of Santiago with the NGO Worldneeds.
Fábio has spent eleven days together with other members of the NGO continuing to support the Eugenio Lima community on the island of Santiago in the Republic of Cape Verde. They have been in the schools of polo A and B collaborating with the teachers in the classrooms and have used the donation of the Geocad Group to deliver school supplies to each of the 900 students of this community.
They also participated in the celebrations of the 166th anniversary of the foundation of the community and in the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April (Freedom Day) where they had the opportunity to meet the President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who was on an official visit to the area.
