Strategy, opportunities and partnerships in China
GEOCAD is consolidating its strategy in China with a key mission that opens up new opportunities for expansion and strengthens industrial partnerships between countries and our partners.
During the last two weeks of May 2026, Geocad Group Manager David Hontoria, along with General Manager in Portugal João Silva, undertook a strategic trip to China to strengthen the company's international presence, meet with local staff, and explore new business opportunities with emerging clients.
This trip takes place within a global context in which China continues to lead the way in the development and production of electric vehicles, a key sector for the transformation of the global automotive industry.
During the visit, the Geocad experts had the opportunity to meet with Lena Li, Director of the strategic partner Losang. This meeting focused particularly on the development of "Micro Stress" technology, an innovative area Geocad has been working on since the end of 2024.
This collaboration reinforces both companies' commitment to research and the implementation of advanced technological solutions aimed at improving efficiency and quality in the automotive sector.
Another highlight of the trip was the intensive training for the Geocad team, conducted under the supervision of the Losang team. For three days, the company's professionals participated in technical and operational sessions designed to improve internal processes and enhance the quality of service offered to clients.
This trip is considered a key step for the Geocad group at a particularly challenging time for the automotive industry in Europe, marked by the crisis and the need to adapt to more sustainable and technologically advanced models.
The experience in China reinforces the company's international strategy and its commitment to innovation as a driver of growth in an increasingly competitive global market.
