Meeting of the Geocad Group from Portugal, China and Mexico
In the second week of March 2026, the teams from Portugal, China and Mexico gathered at our head office in Irún to spend a few very special days together.
Every year we organise this gathering with colleagues from different countries to discuss the present and future of our projects, exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration between teams. But it is also an opportunity to spend time together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
During these days, we also take the chance to discover a little more of Gipuzkoa, the place where Grupo Geocad was founded. We visited places such as Irún, Hondarribia and Donostia, enjoying the scenery, the countryside and the local culture. And, of course, a visit to a traditional cider house was a must. This year we chose Sidrería Zelaia, a lovely, welcoming place where we were able to enjoy this very special tradition.
In Gipuzkoa, cider houses are not just places to eat, but social spaces where friends and families gather around long tables to share food, cider and conversation. Towns such as Astigarraga, Hernani and Usurbil are particularly well known for this tradition.
These kinds of get-togethers remind us that, beyond the projects, people are the heart of Geocad.
